400 x 40 pixels:
This second one is 408 x 60 pixels. (7688 bytes) That is the pro forma standard size for all the Hyperbanner sites (max sze permittd 10k). It would be very simple to crop it in to 400 if prefered. You can find them at http://www.hyperbannernet.com I think.

I personally slightly prefer the green but this another option.
If you'd also like help laying out your site to optimise your work - let me know though as it happens your site is pretty good already - My main quibble would be that I'm not a fan of backgrounds, because they vary enormously from cpu to cpu and tend to screw up the text that lie on top. If you must use them then it might be worth trying inserting a table that doesn't allow the BG to show through.
